GEM LITERACY is a South Auckland professional learning and development facilitator who specialises in supporting educators from Year 1-8 committed to bridging the gap between evidence-based literacy and learning research and effective classroom instruction.
We focus on Structured Literacy, guided by the Science of Reading and Learning, which is an evidence-based approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling that is explicit, systematic and cumulative.
GEM LITERACY is committed to raising teacher knowledge and capability to ensure more equitable outcomes for all learners, especially Māori and Pasifika.
